Mark Vurnum, Lead Generation & why
Adsense is not the only way to make profit from your
xsitepro website.
You have probably heard about
adsense at some point? Well xsitepro has been very popular with
adsense publishers, especially when combined with programs like
ArticleBot or Orwell. Before that people were using a "scraper"
program called Traffic equalizer or "TE".
It may surprise you that I am not
really into adsense. Sure I have a few sites that return a moderate
income from adsense, however one of the problems has been that
adsense relies on mass content. I don't really agree with the
concept of producing mass content websites for the purpose of
winning clicks.
Some of the "Black Hat" brigade -
the less ethical webmasters use all sorts of cloaking and mass
content methods to build these websites faster than Google can
pull them down. In this news post I want to move away from the
adsense topic, and talk about something different. VERY
different.
Instead I have found better ways
for my xsitepro websites to make me and my clients a decent income
- by promoting services and products.
There is the traditional way of
affiliate promotion - where you review a product or create bonus to
sell a product. (for more information on that I highly
recommend Affiliate Project
X which combined
with sneakytips was the basis for this xsitepro-seo website
and the now famous XSP Cheat Sheet!).
And one of the other
best ways to "monetize" your business is to use your website to
leverage your offline business efforts. If you add REAL
value to your website and fill a need, you will be very successful
indeed.
Many of my clients have a
business where they want the website to produce "leads". I have
been operating in this niche for quite some time servicing small
business clients who need more clients themselves.
Until recently, there wasn't much
information about it, and I, like others have been building SEO
optimized websites, putting up landing pages, driving traffic
towards them and then forwarding leads.
Now there is this guy
called Mark Vurnum who has been pushed out from hiding in a recent
UK seminar and is teaching other people how to make money from the
technique called - LeadGen (Lead generation).
He even turned his back on
Adsense to concentrate full time on his Lead generation because it
has a big big future on the internet.
Imagine how many business owners
are looking to use the internet to create leads, however they have
NO CLUE how to do it. If you were thinking of building websites for
your own services or to sell high end ticket sales items, then this
guy has great content for you. If you could build websites and
then sell the leads to business owners, you might find it far more
profitable than adsense.
You may even decide to consult to
other businesses and show them how to do it.
For
example
I was helping a friend move
some furniture recently and I discovered that he owned the sole
rights for Australia to distribute software for a niche OFFLINE
market. This software is for use in a particular environment by
specialised clients. (Not an internet marketing
market!).
I quickly did some market
research and discovered that there were only a few competitors in
the market, and they had only mildly useful websites. Some were
doing a little pay per click advertising, not too much
though.
The margin on this software is
$3000 per sale. Yes $3000.
So I said to my friend, "do you
mind if I set up a website and get some leads for you?". He didn't
mind at all. We made an agreement that I give him the leads
and he gives me 50% of the sales. That is $1500 per
sale.
I set up a domain name, built a
website, (a fully SEO optimized xsitepro website) set to dominate
the market, and created a report to capture leads. I have a
digital download bonus for subscribers, and a mini series to
educate them more about the product and build a
relationship.
Next I arranged to get
a physical product bonus to offer for making an appointment with
the sales person (via a form on the website).
Now I can choose what to
do with this website.
- I can continue sharing the
profits, or
- sell the leads to any one of
three other competitors (who are now very hungry for them!)
or
- I could sell the entire website
to any of four companies for a huge sum.
Either way it has been a
great opportunity. I am competitng in a market where other
business simply do not know how to grab the attention of
the online buyer. And if I want to I can even start marketing the
website offline to grab those buyers too.
I was doing this stuff before
Mark Vurnum started to release his how to videos. And now he has
videos explaining everything in detail.
Mark Vurnum outlines his
strategy for lead Generation:
1. You do market research to a)
find a niche and b) work out the metrics (and profits) of the
deal.
2. You set up a special LeadGen
Website, drive traffic to it, and capture your prospect’s
details.
3. Once you convert prospects,
you contact carefully-chosen companies (using the
LeadGen system) to sell your leads to. You then finalise your
working arrangement with them.
4. When the company has paid you
IN ADVANCE, you start sending them leads (try asking Google to pay
you in advance!)
5. You then think about other
ways to monetize your back-end both Online AND Offline…
6. Go back to Step 1 and repeat
the process, either with the same niche or with another one (after
all, there’s no limit on the number of niches you can do this for.
You’re only limited by whether or not you can make a good profit
from any particular niche…)

regarded in this field:
Fact is, Mark makes a huge income from lead generation. His
ideas work well and you can make a lot of
money if you copy them.
Most of the guys doing this (like
me) just don’t talk about it, but Mark has made videos to step you

I have watched the videos, and
even though I know SOME of this stuff, I have picked up
plenty. For the next few weeks I will be modifying my sites to
capture more business than I did before, and then looking to
expand my lead generation activities. The Lead Generation
